2.) Meeting Roleplay 1: Evaluating Options
Meeting Roleplay 1: Evaluating Options(Read Evaluating Options Roleplay Steps*)
Background:Our company aims to strengthen its global presence by having employees acquire a new foreign language. We are currently evaluating four possible choices: French, Italian, Spanish, or Chinese.
Goal:
Each participant articulates their preferred language(s) and explains their reasoning. The group then critically examines the relative advantages and potential drawbacks of each option. Finally, everyone collaborates to decide on one language that best aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
*Evaluating Options Roleplay Steps (English)
Think for 3 minutes about which option you want.
Type your choice in the chat box and give a short reason.
For example: (Spanish: good for travel)
Look at everyone’s options and read their reasons.
You have 2 minutes to think about the weak points (problems) of each choice in the chat box. Also, think again about your own choice. (You can prefer more than one option.)
Start the meeting roleplay.
During the roleplay, discuss and compare these options.
If you do not like any option, you can suggest new ideas at any time.
