Week 12 Listening Script
Hello! My name is Kenji, and I work at a popular cosmetics company. Our headquarters is large and modern. I work in the Research and Development department, where I help with product development and quality control for new products.
Every morning, I meet with my colleagues in our meeting room. We discuss our tasks, check the inventory, and plan our schedule for the day. Sometimes, I work with a sales assistant from the sales department and a team member from marketing. We also talk about customer service and packaging design for our new products.
Yesterday, I had a meeting with our manager. I wrote a report and received useful feedback. During the meeting, my manager asked, “When is the presentation?” I answered, “It starts at 2 PM.” I believe our team works well together and helps our company earn a good profit.
In my opinion, working here is interesting and fun—even though some tasks are too hard. Next week, I will help with a new project in distribution and production. I will also call our technician to fix a problem with a packaging machine.
I plan to meet my team again to complete the project before the deadline.
