That's a good/great/important question.

That's an interesting point.

Structuring your answer

I think there are two parts to your question.

First of all, ...and for your second point...

Checking if You Answered the Question

Meeting Roleplay 1: Evaluating Options(Read Evaluating Options Roleplay Steps*)

Background: Our company wants employees to learn a new foreign language to become more successful in global business. We have four options: French, Italian, Spanish, or Chinese.

Goal:

Each person shares which language or languages they prefer. Then, everyone discusses the strengths and weaknesses of each option. Finally, the group chooses one final language. *Evaluating Options Roleplay Steps (English)

  1. Think for 3 minutes about which option you want.

  2. Type your choice in the chat box and give a short reason.

For example: (Spanish: good for travel)

  3. Look at everyone’s options and read their reasons.

  4. You have 2 minutes to think about the weak points (problems) of each choice in the chat box. Also, think again about your own choice. (You can prefer more than one option.)

  5. Start the meeting roleplay.

  6. During the roleplay, discuss and compare these options.

  7. If you do not like any option, you can suggest new ideas at any time.

評価オプション・ロールプレイの手順 (Japanese)

  4. 2分間、各選択肢の弱い点(問題)を考え、自分の選択肢をもう一度考え直しましょう。(複数の選択肢を選んでも大丈夫です。)

3.)  Business Discussion: Services

Services Article: The quality of customer service can make or break a company’s reputation. Providing excellent after-sales support and maintaining good communication with clients is essential to building customer loyalty. Many businesses offer customization options to meet specific client needs, and helpdesks are in place to resolve issues quickly. Whether companies offer one-time services or subscription models, client satisfaction and positive feedback are key to success. With the rise of outsourcing, many companies also delegate specialized services to external providers, ensuring efficiency while focusing on their core business.

Discussion Questions:

  1. What do you think are the most important elements of good customer service?

  2. Have you ever had a negative experience with a company’s customer service? How was it resolved?

  3. How do you think businesses can improve client satisfaction?

  4. What are the benefits and challenges of outsourcing services?

  5. Do you prefer to subscribe to services (e.g., streaming, software) or pay for them individually? Why?
